FIELD & GREEN
7PM | 19-21 JUNE | TICKETS
In ancient Persia, the winter solstice was seen by some as an ominous time, when darkness descended and the sun is said to have stopped in its tracks. Nonetheless, it was also a time to celebrate. With this in mind, Field & Green and Lōemis combine to present you The Feast of Yaldā: three delicious nights of solstice festivity, packed full of food and music!

Chef LAURA GREENFIELD has created a special menu inspired by centuries-old traditions that combine a bounteous, multi-course array of seasonal delicacies. Dishes include Fesenjoon (pomegranate, walnut and chicken stew), Mahi Sorkh kardeh (blackened fried fish) and Ghormeh Sabzi (Persian green stew); all served on delicious home made flat breads, and herb rices. AND, there will be a fine array of fruits, nuts and baklava cake with orange blossom yoghurt; plus live, traditional oud music (featuring Michel Alkhouri and friends) and Persian poetry by Roya Jarabouti.
Also included is a matched organic & biodynamic wine from Urlar.
Come in from the winter darkness and feast!
