SERAPHINA reaches the end of its life cycle and is carried by a procession, accompanied by a live orchestra, along the waterfront from the Wellington Central Library (Civic Square) to The Whairepo Lagoon, where it is floated out and spectacularly set fire to.

Seraphina DEPARTS from Civic Square, outside the Wellington Central Library at 5.30pm. Lagoon CEREMONY from 5:50pm. ENDS: 6:30pm.

In the lead-up to the RITUAL, you can feed Seraphina's eggs and belly with your deepest thoughts – it will be on display at the Wellington Central Library from June 6-20.

Afterwards – head to TERMINUS, the solstice after-party at Meow!
